 _ 2017 Inter'Rockin Triathlon, Duathlon & Aquabike:

Entering its 12th year and 10th at Interlochen State Park, Inter’Rockin will be located across the street from the world reknowned Interlochen Music Camp. 15 minutes from downtown Traverse City, this event is situated on the calendar this year at the end of the International Cherry Festival. With a great campground, this event has a huge following of athletes that bring the entire family up to camp at the state park for the event.

With the run course cutting right through the campground out and back dozens of campers will be cheering you on at the start and end of your run discipline. The swim is in crystal clear Duck Lake.  The bike course is the flattest part of the entire Grand Traverse County, that has its only climb at about mile 4 on the course.  Lightly travelled smooth roads make this just a perfect vacation destination event with something for the entire family.

Course Information:

Swim:
The swim is in the crystal clear Duck Lake with an in the water start.

Bike:
The bike is pretty much the flattest road in the county with one small climb on the way outand is tree lined the entire way. Back county roads are lightly traveled, to the point athletes have told us they have counted less than 20 cars back there.

Run:
The run depends on whether you chose Olympic or Sprint. You want flat as a pancake fast out and back or "the hill" that greets Olympic distance athletes, as they make the turn for their final 4 tenths before the turnaround point. You run through the cheering fans in the campground on the way out and back in before the excellent finish.
