_ 2017 The Bavarian Inn Experience Triathlon:
Michigan’s top tourist destination now hosts one of the regions best triathlons. If you have not been to Frankenmuth lately, it is time to come visit. We are once again proud to be the official event management company for the Coleman brothers Tri For Life event The Experience at Frankenmuth!
The experience will be just that, not just another great event in another tourist destination, but one the Tri For Life folks will make an experience from the time you arrive down town. Everything will be staged downtown showcasing all that makes Frankenmuth the true gem that it is in Michigan. Something for the entire family awaits along with an Experience racing brought to you by Tri For Life charity & the Coleman family.
Prize Purse: Please see the tri for life/donate life website for details on their prize purse. Again this is a tri for life event, owned and operated by them. We are only management for the production of the event.
Course Information:
The swim will be in the cass river which all of the incredible Frankemuth shops overlook. This section of the river was used for the final leg of the swim challenge event last year.
The bike will be on rural farm roads with very little traffic and some spots you will be lucky to see a vehicle. It is pretty much as flat as it gets out there. A modified out and back which will provide about a half mile seperation limiting the amount of athletes on the same road at the same time.
The run is also as flat as a pancake, but will take you by all the sights and sounds of beautiful Frankemuth. It is a loop run course with a dedicated closed course most of the way.
To keep the event safe for athletes as well as the thousands of spectators and visitors to Frankenmuth official course cut off of 11:45 a.m.. This will not be a loose cut off, this will be the official course cut off. Any athletes still on the course at 11:45 a.m. will be picked up and brought to the transition area.
