_ 2017 Julie Hughes Triathlon:
The event consists of a 5 mile run, 12 mile bike ride, and 1,000 yard swim. There is a special short course for the 12 and under participants. Athletes can compete on a team or as an individual. Team Relay categories include youth girls/boys/mixed, adult male/female/mixed, family and corporate.
Proceeds from this event are donated to the Sitka Cancer Survivors Network. All cyclists are encouraged to have a bicycle safety check prior to the event at Yellow Jersey.
