_ 2017 One in Five 5K Run:
In Maine, 1 in 5 people will experience sexual violence in their lifetime. This shocking statistic has outraged many of us in our community. We have decided to take a stand against sexual violence by running or walking at this event in support of those survivors in our own home towns.
The 6th Annual One in Five 5K will be held on April 30, 2017 at Thomas College in Waterville at 9:00AM. The proceeds from this race will benefit the Sexual Assault Crisis & Support Center and its fight to end sexual assault and support survivors through their healing journey.
