  • This is a fun, family team time-trial triathlon for distance that includes a 10 minute swim, a 10 minute bike and a 10 minute run.
  • Teammates will participate side by side in the pool, on spin bikes and on the running track.
  • Teams will consist of one adult (19yrs and over) and one youth (18yrs and younger).
  • The teams will be divided by Adult Male/Adult Female and categorized by youth teammates age: 7-10yrs, 11-14yrs and 15-18yrs.
  • If you dont have a youth, you may rent one for a $10 donation to the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.
  • There is a maximum of 30 teams for this tri.

    Course Information:
  • You will swim for 10 minutes for distance in the Y Lap Pool, transition to spin bikes in the Y Lobby for a 10 minute biking time trial for distance.
  • After the bike, you will transition to the Y Lap Track where you will finish with a 10 minute running time trial for distance.

  • The triathlon will be held inside the Decatur Family YMCA in Decatur, Illinois just north of downtown, west of Highway 51 on McKinley Ave and on the northside of the street from Decatur Memorial Hospital.

  • The Greater Decatur Tri-Gator Multi-Sport Club is an organized, official USAT national club dedicated to the educational pursuit of multi-sport disciplines such as duathlon and triathlon, for the encouragement of general physical fitness, the establishment of a support and training network and for the promotion, development and representation of multi-sports within the community and region.
