Annual Rail Trail Half Marathon, 5K and Half Marathon Relay – a fundraising event to benefit the Kennebec River Rail Trail. The Kennebec River Rail Trail is a popular 6.5 mile trail that runs along the Kennebec River and old railroad tracks from Augusta to Gardiner. This historic and scenic path is used for walking, biking, running, in-line skating and cross-country skiing by many people in the area community.
Course Information:
• Fast, flat course on the Kennebec River Rail Trail next to the Kennebec River.
Directions:
• Follow signs to Augusta City Hall.
