- Race the State utilizes the geography of Rhode Island to create a truly one of a kind race spanning Little Rhody! Race the State Rhode Island is made up of 5 legs: 3.8-mile run, 1-mile SUP, 12.3 mile run, 5.6 mile kayak & a 28.5 mile bike. Competitors can register as an individual to do all 5 legs or as a 2, 3, 4 or 5 person team.
