Event details and schedule
The Ring In trail races are held annually on January 1 at the ASC Greenway. The length, and price, of the race depends on the date. The 2017 race will be a 17K and cost $17. There is also a 7K option and a 1.2 mile fun run.
The ASC Greenway is different than most urban spaces called greenways. This is a trail race on mostly single track, technical trail. It is a 3000-acre natural area with very varied terrain. There are creek crossings, mud and rolling hills. There are no groomed or paved trails.
The 7K course would be an excellent first time trail race.
Race day bib pickup will be at 8:30 AM. The 17K will start at 10:00 AM and the 7K at 10:15 AM.
The 7K course follow most of the same course as the 17K with two exceptions. There is a turn around at about the 2.5 mile mark where the 7K course crosses a bridge over the creek and rejoins the 17K course. The 7K course will also NOT include in the loop around the lake.
