Aurora Wellness Center’s Splash & Dash Youth Aquathlon is a fun and fast-growing sporting event combining swimming & running.

The event features a swim in our 25-yard, 8-lane competition pool followed by a run on our suspended, 1/11-mile indoor track. 

The participants will begin with the swim portion of the event in our competition pool.  They will then go to the transition area (gym floor) where they will put on their running shoes and running gear and proceed onto the run portion of the event.

The focus is on encouraging participation, exposing young athletes to the exciting world of multisport and having fun!

• Date: Sunday, November 6, 2016
• Location: Aurora Wellness Center
• Address: 300 McCanna Parkway, Burlington, WI 53105
• Entry Fee: $25  for ages 5-6,  $30 for ages 7-10,  $35 for ages 11-15
• Start Time: 9:30 a.m.
• Check in: Ages 5-6 begins at 11:45am;  Ages 7-10 begins at 9:30am; Ages 11-15 begins at 8:45am
• Race heats begin:  Ages 5-6 is 12:30pm;  Ages 7-10 is 10:20am; Ages 11-15 is 9:30am
• Distances : Ages 5-6: 50 yard swim, 500 meter run; Ages 7-10: 100 yard swim, 1K run; Ages 11-15: 200 yard swim, 2K run
• All swimming must be performed without the aid of floation devices.

• Family entry into post race pool party.  Pool party immediately following last heat until 4pm.
