Race courses travel over paved running trails, small wooden bridges and through a nature area on a 1/3 mile long elevated boardwalk. The post race party takes place inside the Fitness Center at Brunswick Forest with good snacks, adult beverages, prize drawings and the famous Beethoven costume contest where skits are encouraged and winners are chosen by audience cheering.
The mean Beethoven collectable 15K finisher medals are awesome! Visit the race website for all race features and pictures of last year's medal. Shirts will be long sleeved Zorrel or like tech shirts in the 15K and nice cotton shirts in the 5K.
Inside bathroom and locker rooms are available pre and post race for athletes.
There is a team entry category in the Beethoven 15K with 1st and 2nd place teams receiving trophies going 4-deep for each team. Team members are also eligible for individual awards.
All proceeds go to the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra
