The Dupont Circle Club 5K will be on the scenic C&O Canal Towpath in Georgetown, starting at the west end of Water Street near The Potomac Boat Club. Public parking is available along Water Street as well as Colonial Parking at 1010 Water Street, Constitution Parking at 3217 K Street and Colonial Parking at 1055 Jefferson Street.
Course Information:
The C&O Canal Towpath is off-the-road running on mostly hard packed dirt trail. It is a flat, easy and beautiful run next to the quiet waters of the canal.
Directions:
Pre-race packet pick-up will be on Saturday, October 22, from 1:30-4:00pm at the Dupont Circle Club, 1623 Connecticut Ave. NW #200 Washington, DC 20009
Race day packet pick up will be Sunday, October 23, at 8:00-8:45am at the beginning of the Capital Cresecnt Bike Trail at the West End of Water Street in Georgetown (3700 Water Street). Runners will then proceed up the stairway next to the stone archway to the C&O Canal Towpath where the race will start and finish.
