2016 Hy-Vee Mini-Triathlon on Lake Kampeska:
- Compete in the oldest and largest triathlon in South Dakota.
- Individuals or teams compete in a 1/4 mile swim, 14 mile bike, and 5K run.
- Chip-timing services provided by Allsportcentral.
- 6 entries to the Hy-Vee BG ITU World Cup Triathlon in Des Moines, IA wil be awarded to the top 3 female / male winners in the first three age categories.
- Cash prizes to the top finishers in each age category and t-shirts to all participants.
Course Information:
Swim:
- The quarter mile swim will be parallel to shore line.
Bike: - The 14 mile bike ride will travel through picturesque scenery as you loop around beautiful Lake Kampeska.
Run: - The run is 3.1 miles out to the golf course and back.
- A water station will be positioned at the turn around for the run.
Directions:
Stokes-Thomas Lake City Park is located on the northeast shore of Lake Kampeska, off Highway 20 on South Lake Drive.
Watertown is in north-eastern South Dakota, 30 miles north of Brookings.
