The Baby Steps Memorial Run is an event that allows grieving families and their friends to come together to remember their loved ones in a supportive, caring environment.  All proceeds benefit The Amelia Center at Children's Hospital of Alabama.

Deadline for early registration and memorial name submission; ONLINE or MAIL-IN will be 7/31/16!  NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

Early packet pick-up will be at Trak Shak in Homewood on:   

Wednesday, August 10th from 12pm - 6pm 

Thursday, August 11th from 11am - 6pm

All participants registering by 7/31/16 are guaranteed FREE admission into the park, a race shirt, and swag bag!

Date:               Saturday, August 13, 2016 (rain or shine)

Time:               Packet Pick-up begins at 7am 

                        5k begins at 8am / 1 mile begins at 8:15am

Location:        Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park

                       12634 Confederate Parkway, McCalla, AL 35111

Prices:           Individuals 5k: $25-Early Registration OR $30 day of race                 

                       Teams **5k ONLY:   $20 per team member (5 member min.) ** NO team registration on race day**

                        1 mile:$15-Early Registration OR $20 day of race 
 
Children 5 and under “race” FREE with the paid registration of a parent. 

Door prizes, awards and more will follow the run!

All memorial names submitted by 7/31/16 (with paid registration) will be included in the race shirt design as well as a memorial sign to be displayed at the run. Please note Baby Steps keeps all memorial signs to use in future runs.  This allows us to save costs on reprinting signs for those who participate each year.
