This is a charity event that is to help raise funds for Bakas Horses for Handicapped. They benefit children and adults who are either physically challenged or developmentally delayed. It contributes to purchasing safety equipment & supplies for students, funds towards costs to the challenge and special olympic shows, socialization opportunites for the students and families, and vet and farrier services for the horses.
We are in need of our community help.
Course Information:
The 5k is an off road trail run that is through the grounds of Bakas equestrian center. There is also a one mile walk availible. Rain or shine, the mud is free! There will be water stations provided and is a timed event with awards. You can read more and see the course at www.5kbakas.com. You can register at active.com and type in Bakas in Tampa, FL.
