Our annual YMCA Kid's Triathlon is held during our Camp Broad Rock Carnival on Friday August 12th at 6:30pm. We have age appropriate waves and adjust our course for the different age levels. Participants will swim in our YMCA indoor pool, bike our property then finish with a run finishing at our Camp Carnival Annual Event. All participants who register two weeks in advance will receive a t-shirt. All participants will receive a participation medal.
Event is geared for children ages 5-11.
Course Information:
The entire event is held on the YMCA grounds. Free of traffic.
Swim is located in the YMCA's Indoor 25 meter pool.
Ages 5-6 ( 25 meters ) ; Ages 7-8 ( 50 meters ); Ages 9-11 ( 75 meters )
Bike is located on the YMCA paved lots
Ages 5-6 ( 1/2 mile ) ; Ages 7-8 ( 1.5 miles ); Ages 9-11 ( 2-2.5 miles )
Run is located on the YMCA trails and field
Ages 5-6 ( 1/4 mile ) ; Ages 7-8 ( 1/2 miles ); Ages 9-11 ( 3/4 miles )
