_ 2016 Castaic Lake Triathlon Series II:
Swim: 400 meters (approx) - Warm water (78 degrees) lake swim in purified clear water (wetsuits optional), beaches, guarded by L.A. County Life Guards. Showers and bathrooms are on site. No Swim Caps Provided or required.

Bike:: 10 Miles - Secure transition area with traffic control by L.A. County Sheriffs.

Note: The part of the Bike route that circles the prison is unavailable for practice rides.

Event details and schedule
Race Day and Late Registration: $80 for Individuals and $100 per team
Race Day Registration - Begins at 6:15 am for all races (gate opens at 6:00am)
Registration and Packet Pick Up (optional) on Friday July 9th at Performance Cyclery from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm Make Checks Payable to: Canyon ASB or Pay on line at Active.com
First Wave will be at 8:00 am (subject to change) and the number of waves will depend on number of entries. Men and Teams first, Women last. (10 minute intervals) Kids Triathlon $40 (register at the Lake or at Performance tonight) will start at 8:30 (100 yd swim, 3 mile bike, 1 mile run). It may be HOT so please remember to HYDRATE well before the race!
