_ 2017 Lake Freebird Triathlon:
The event offers the Sprint Triathlon, Beginners Triathlon, and a Duathlon, all set in a beautiful part of the Missouri Ozarks. The Lake Freebird is on private property, out of which the racers will bike and when return, then run around the lake, out several blocks, then finish around the lake once more.
Beginners will swim 330 meters, 10 mile bike, and only once around the lake (1.3K)
Duathlon racers will not be swimming, but will do the sprint bike and run.
Course Information:
A challenging course of straight-aways and hills along beautiful surroundings, the racers will be on private and public roads. All crossings and turnaround points monitored by volunteers, as well as water stations throughout.
