Our Annual 1 & 2 Mile Swim Race has people from all over and all ages. It is a race in the Merrimack River of Lowell, MA. We have been doing this race for over 10 years. Ages groups are 19 - 70+ Prizes for Overall Male & Female - Wetsuit & Non-Wetsuit. Prizes for age groups 3 deep.
Course Information:
1 Mile Course - Starts at the Beach - travel 1/2 mile up river, turn around and return to the beach.
2 Mile Course - Starts at the Beach - travel 1 mile up river, turn around and return to the beach.
Directions:
From the South - Route 3 north to Exit #32, Take Right at end of Ramp - Drum Hill Road / Lowell Exit. Go 1/4 mile and go over the Rourke Bridge. Take a Right at the end of the Bridge and the venue is 1 mile on the Right. Parking on the street permitted.
From the North - Route 3 South to Exit #32, Take Right at end of Ramp Go around the Rotary & take the Drum Hill Road / Lowell Exit. Go 1/4 mile and go over the Rourke Bridge. Take a Right at the end of the Bridge and the venue is 1 mile on the Right. Parking on the street permitted.
