- The Stronger Women Stronger World 5K Obstacle Race is a 10 year and up women's only event designed to challenge anyone's fitness level from the dedicated athlete to someone just starting in their fitness journey. This race allows women to run with other women, to support each other and to lift each other up when needed. All monies raised by the entry fees will be donated to local charities that benefit women and young girls' programs.

Last Year the Stronger Women Stronger World Obstacle Race raised more than $8,700. 

 The 2015 Beneficiaries were:

-The Susan B. Anthony Project

-The Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Pink Rose Fund

-The Northwest CT YMCA Young Girls Sports Initiative

-The Women and Girls Fund from The Community Foundation

Timing Bib (optional/additional purchase) - only timed racers are eligible for individual prizes.

TEAM REGISTRATION: 2 options:

1) Create a team and then have your team members join the team by registering themselves rather than gathering all of their information and money and registering all at once. In order to create a team and have people self-register themselves, the captain needs to register under individual and it will then give you an option during the registration process to create your team. The other members of your team will also register under individual and during the registration process pick "join a team".

2) If you want to create a team and register all members at once, you must have all your members inform, you must pay for all members at the time of registration and you are unable to add additional members once the entire team is registered. To do this - select TEAM registration.

Packet Pick Up and Same Day Registration opens at 7:30a. Please bring ID.

Same Day Registration closes at 8:45a.

Race Times: 1st wave is at 9am. # of race waves are determinded by the # of participants and announced day of race. Those choosing to purchase a timing bib will have the option of running in the first wave if desired. A follow up contact will confirm this option. Individual racers will start first with Teams to follow.

Course: 5K(high school cross country course) with 20+ obstacles, 3 water stations. 

Award Ceremony immediately following last finished. Must be present to receive. Individual race awards must have timed bib.
