Kick off July 4^th with a 5K!  The annual Sandy Shoes 5K Fun Run will take place on Monday, July 4^th at 7:00am in beautiful Mexico Beach, FL.  All ages are invited to participate in this family fun event.  This year’s event will be a timed event with chipped bibs for each participant.  Run takes place at Under the Palms Park down 7^th Street and is a very easy course that will allow any stage of runner to enjoy.  Water stations along the road are route markers and spirited volunteers and onlookers will be cheering on each racer as they cross the finish line. 

Preregistration is now open and all those who register by June 27^th will receive a race day t-shirt.  Registration price will increase on June 28^th and t-shirt will not be guaranteed in size requested.  There will be two days for early packet pick-up: Friday, July 1^st from 10:00am till 4:00pm and Sunday, July 3^rd from 1:00pm till 4:00pm at the Mexico Beach Civic Center.  Day of race pick-up will be open from 6:00am till 6:30am.  Race will start at 7:00am.  All times are listed in Central Time.
