The Flint Hills Triathlon, hosted by Flint Hills Technical College, is comprised of a 200 meter swim at Emporia High School, a 12.1 mile gravel bike race and a 3.1 mile run on a paved trail and residential streets. The event will begin at Emporia High School. Competitors will complete the swimming and race across the street to the FHTC Main Campus to begin the biking component. The out and back bike ride will complete at the main campus where competitors will transition to the final leg of the race, which will also end at the FHTC Main Campus. The event is chip-timed to ensure accuracy of each leg, transition and overall results.
