 - This is an adventure race and includes approximately 3-4 miles of trail running, 7-14 mile mountain bike, 25 - 35 minute canoe & mystery events. The race is designed to take 1.5 - 2.5 hours on average. This is a 2-person team race (not a relay) where both racers must stay together the entire time. You may also do this race solo. We give you mileage ranges above because each of the 4 races in this series has different terrain and we adjust the distance to meet the predicted finish times above, so the easier the course, the longer the distance, and the more difficult the course, the shorter the distance.

Course Information:

 - Lose yourself among the majestic trees and natural beauty of the East Texas Pineywoods. The heavily-wooded park adjoins the Sam Houston National Forest and encloses the 210-acre Lake Raven.

We provide the Inflatable canoes (Sevylor K-79 model ), paddles and life jackets, so you don't have to worry about additional rental fees or competitors with $1,000.00 boats. You must use our boats, paddles and life jackets. You must bring and use mountain bikes for all adventure races - mountain biased hybrids are allowed. You are also required to bring and wear a CPSC certified helmet!
