_ 2016 Tri Fall Creek Falls Olympic & Calfkiller Sprint Triathlons:
The 12th annual Tri Fall Creek Falls Triathlon is a popular Olympic distance triathlon put on by the folks at Endurance Sports Management (the organizers of a variety of triathlons, running and off-road events in the Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama and North Carolina area). New for 2016 is the addition of the Calfkiller Sprint Triathlon - S 500 mtr. - B 22K - R 5K. The triathlon takes place at Tennessee's most popular state park and is centrally located between Knoxville, Nashville and Chattanooga, making it very accessible.
The Banjo awards top 3 overall & top 3 age group and bluegrass music are highlights of a wonderful time to be had by all in this quite rural setting. Also, race shirts & race socks (first 400 entries), Finishers Medal and post race cookout!
RACE CAP - Total entries for both Sprint & Olympic distance races will be 400.
Race start time is 7:30 AM Central Standard Time. Arrive at site no later than 6:30 AM CST for ample time for parking, packet pickup.
RACE LOCATION – Fall Creek Falls State Park, Pikeville, TN (please allow extra travel time – park is remote & rural but worth the trip!) On-line reservation links for : FCF Camping: $11 to $25 per site/night , FCF Hotel - $74 to $220 or FCF Cabins - $145 to $160 (2 night min sleep 6-8)

Age Groups and Awards: Overall awards for the top three male and female finishers & top three male and female masters. Age group awards for first, second, and third place in the following M & F age groups: 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45- 49, 50-55, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over & top 3 Clydesdale & Athena. Open Relay Division: Male, Female, and Co-ed.

Directions-
From Nashville take I-40 East to Cookeville. Turn right onto 111 South (exit 288).Travel approx. 45 miles. Left on Highway 284 – park about 10 miles.
From Knoxville, take I-40 West to Crossville to Peavine (exit 322). Take a left off the exit, turn right at the light and follow Highway 101 to Highway 30. Turn right on Hwy 30, park entrance is about 6 miles on the left.
From Atlanta, take I-75 North to Chattanooga, take I-24 toward Nashville, take Hwy 27 North toward Dayton and follow Highway 111 North to Hwy. 284 on the right – park about 10 miles. Follow signs & arrows to race site.
