What is The Mad Dash? The Mad Dash 2016 is the fifth annual adventure race held in Newtown, CT. It will offer participants the ultimate in fitness adventures where they'll run, jump, crawl, carry and climb their way through the scenic Fairfield Hills Campus; utilizing both its natural topography, as well as manmade structures! This fun, but challenging course includes physical challenges, running and skilled events.

Details: Participants can choose from different levels: 
Activity Numbers: 414110 A – Elite Dashers (8+ yrs.) 
Activity Numbers: 414110 B – Open Dash Registration (8+ yrs.)
They're Back: Mini-Dash & Superheroes divisions: 
Activity Number: 414109 A - Mini-Dash $15 (5-8 yrs.) 
Activity Number: Superheroes $125 (Teams of 6) - Firefighters, Police Dept., EMT, Search & Rescue, etc. $125. 

Each family member running must register. The Open course will have significantly less running and modified challenges and is designed for families and single runners at an intermediate fitness level. The advanced course will test even the most-seasoned athlete with more difficult running components and challenges. 
Pre-register: Early Bird $25.00. Registrations after May 20th and day of race: $35.00. Online registration closes on Friday, June 10th at 12:00 PM. Teams of 10: Early-bird $200 and after May 20th $250. Superheroes (Teams of 6) $125 until June 10th at 12PM. 

Teams of 10 & Superheroes, teams of 6: Must run in same division and can only register in the Parks and Recreation Office. We will only accept full team registrations; individuals cannot come and register separately for a team. Please download the appropriate form and return to Parks & Recreation as soon as possible. Teams/Superheroes will NOT be allowed to register day of the race, you will need to register in the Advanced or Beg/Family Divisions.

Mad Dash schedule: 8:30 am for Elite runners and 9:45 am for all other registrants. Mini Dash at 9:30am
After June 10th at 12PM/Same Day Registrants: Must register by 7am.
