2016 Gunnison High Triathlon:
• This is a great sprint triathlon event fun for both the serious athlete and beginners alike. We are the third stop on the Southwestern Colorado Triathlon Series, but hold your breath because we boast the highest elevation of the four races.
• Early bird registration is $55, and teams are $100.
• Come join us on September 10th for an awesome race.
Note:
• Kids race starts the evening before on 9/9/16 at 5:00pm
Course Information:
• 500 yard swim in the Gunnison Community Aquatics Center.
• Then an easy transition to your bike and off for a 13 mile country cycling adventure including 2.5 miles of georgous country gravel road.
• The race finishes with a 4 mile run on street and the Van Tuyl Trail system.
Directions:
• The start and finish of the Gunnison High Triathlon is at the Community and Aquatics Center 200 East Spencer Avenue, Gunnison CO 81230, As you turn North off of US Highway 50 take a right on Spencer Avenue, the last stoplight as you go North out of Gunnison.
