2016 Ave Maria 5K & Mini-Triathlon Spring Event:

All net proceeds will be used for puschasing Swim Club equipments and support Ave Maria resident and pro-triathlete, Aubrey Aldy and his "Bean Team" to participate in the Race Across America bike race this summer, raising money and awareness for The Wounded Warrior Project and Operation Homefront.  See their video here http://youtu.be/EhfJob4aXxE

Suggested donation: 

• $25 each for OPEN and 5K athletes
• $15 each for Tri-For-All athletes
• $10 each for non-athletes at party

Schedule:

• 6:00-6:30am:  Register, pick up numbers and Bike set up
• 6:40 am:  Briefing
• 7:00 am:  OPEN Triathlon Start
• 7:30 am:  TRI-FOR-ALL Start
• 7:45 am:  5K Walk/Run start
• 8:30 am:  Award ceremony and Presentation by Bean Team on Race Across America
• Games, music, snack, drinks & Party at Water Park until 10am
  • Eating contest
  • Hula hoop contest
  • Limbo contest

You can still donate even not participating in the race.  Just come to the party.

• Bike – 2.75 miles
