We're looking for swimmers in the area who are interested in raising money for their own clubs, for Asbury, and for Miles with Maeve a charity founded to raise money and awareness for pregnancy and infant loss.
Christine and I tragically lost our first child, daughter Maeve Evalyn, on March 4th 2015 at 37 weeks. Everything about the pregnancy was great until a routine checkup turned into a rush to the delivery room. After losing three previous pregnancies we were elated to be days away from meeting our baby, when suddenly our lives were shattered. In the heartbreaking days that followed we decided to pour our grief into a sports coaching charity that would raise money for other families who've experienced this pain, while leaving a legacy for Maeve.
On June 4th, Maeve's dad (Garrett McAlister) will be swimming for nearly 4 hours as part of his final preparation for the 20km Swim Around Key West and we’re looking for 100+ swimmers to join in the fun!
