Brief Description:
We're taking over Veteran's Park in Dawsonville for the 6th annual Bootlegger Super Sprint & Kids Triathlon . This is the 7th in a series of 8 events over the summer, finishing with a championship race at the beginning of October. Adults start at 8:00 am, and the Kids at 10:30 am. Both adults & children will race a super sprint distance that's specific for their age.

Entry Fees
Adults…$45 by 8/11, $50 afterwards. Kids $40 by 8/11, $45 afterwards

Late Registration & Day of Registration:
Late registration is considered any registration after Sep. 4th. We will have extras, but T-shirts will not be guaranteed on race day for anyone registering after Sep. 4th. Day of registration starts at 7:00 am.

T-shirts:
All participants registered by 4th are guaranteed a great race shirt in their size. Women can also order a Women's Cut. Anyone registering on race day will receive a unisex shirt while supplies last.

Event Cap:
Super Sprint…180...register early, we're expected to sell out fast. If you bring the kids to race too, register for an earlier wave so you're guaranteed to be finished before they start.

Kids Race:
After all the adults have finished their race the kids will start their event. The adults do they're bike on the road, but the Kids Race will be completely on the park grounds. Visit the Fivestarntp.com page for complete information on either race.

Course:
The swim will be done in the Park Pool; The bike leg will be done on the roads around the aquatics center for the adults, and on property for the kids. The run will be done on the park grounds using all paved surfaces.

Adult Distances:
Super Sprint…250 swim, 9 mile bike, 2.25 mile run
Kids Distances:
5 & Under…25 swim, 2/3 mile bike, .15 run.
6 & 7…Swim - 50 m Bike - 2.6 miles Run - .5 miles.
8 & 9...Swim - 75 m Bike - 4 miles Run - .66 miles.
10 & 11...Swim - 100 m Bike - 4 miles Run - .66 miles.
12 & 13...Swim - 125 m Bike - 5 miles Run - .75 mile run

Estimated Swim Time:
Athletes will be placed for the swim start based on their estimated swim time. This will allow the faster swimmers to go first, and keep them from catching the slower swimmers. Please do your best to have an accurate time. You'll need to have your best guess at how long it will take you to complete your entire swim.

Five Star Turkey Trot Qualifier:
All participants registered for the race will qualify for FREE entry into the Five Star Turkey Trot held on Thanksgiving Day. See race website for details.

Five Star Triathlon Championship Qualification
Top Finishers will earn a spot in the Five Star Triathlon Championships to be held on the 1st Weekend in October.

Awards
Adult Awards to the top 3 overall male & female as well as the top 3 masters male & female. Awards also to the top 3 age group finishers for male & female 19 & Under through 75+. Awards for kids will be in each division...top 3 in boys & top 3 girls.

Event Courtesy Policy
Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.
