Early season sprint triathlon opportunity whose mission is a charity event for the boys and girls cross country/track and field programs at DeForest Area High School. Pool swim, rolling bike course, and a neighborhood run course that improves each year. Help raise funds for high school kids while getting your triathlon season off to a positive start.
Event details and schedule
Event Schedule: Kids race will start at 7:15 AM. Sprint distance races will begin after all kids have left T1.
Packet Pick Up: Pool hallway DeForest Area High School from 6:00 - 6:40 AM
Course info: Bike course is mainly on rural, county roads. Rolling terrain with two reasonable hills. Run course is now all on village streets and bike paths. Extremely flat and finishes on the high school track.
Kids Triathlon (ages 7 - 14) Swim 50 yds in HS pool, Bike 2.1 miles, Run .4 miles.
Sprint Distance Triathlon (HS and up) Swim 150 yd serpent swim in HS pool, Bike approx. 12 miles, Run 2.5 miles
Parking: Participants/spectators are to park in the Northwest lot of the high school.
Waivers: Should be completed online to register. Race day entries must complete a waiver in order to participate. Available at registration table beginning at 6:00 AM.
Staging for race waves will be done outside of the pool deck. Beginning at 7:00 AM
Everyone who completes their course will be awarded a finisher medal.
Race Day registrants may/will not recieve a t shirt.
