Kids Tri : Kids Race

- This is a USAT sanctioned race for youth ages 6 - 15 years old. All participants will receive a finisher medal and post race food.

Swim: The swim starts from the sandy beach of Lake Tye. There will be separate waves starting 5 minutes apart. Number of waves is determined by the final number of registrants. The swimmers will make a counter-clockwise loop around 2 buoys. All kids will be in deep water swimming parallel to the beach. Adults may accompany the kids in the water. Use of any type of floatation device is allowed.

Bike: The bike course is an out and back course on a Fryelands Blvd. which is closed to traffice. The bikes will head South for .78 miles and return on the same road. The older kids longer distance 3 mile bike course is 2 loops of this course.

Run: The runners are contained within the park (older kids head out on a portion of the paved trail). running on trails throughout the park.
