Please join us on Saturday, May 14, 2016 for the 29th running of the Narrow River Road Race sponsored by the Narrow River Preservation Association. The event features a 10K Run, 5K Run and 5K Walk along the lower Narrow River in Narragansett and South Kingstown, R.I. when the shad is blooming along the coastal ponds, the osprey are returning to their nest above the Narrows and a gentle breeze is blowing in from Narragansett Bay. Proceeds from the race support NRPA's preservation programs and educational initiatives to protect Narrow River Watershed.
Event details and schedule
Check-in and race day registration begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Narragansett Beach North Pavilion.
The 10K Run starts at 10:00 a.m. at Narragansett Beach for a roundtrip to Treaty Rock Park on Middlebridge Road in South Kingstown.
The 5K Run and 5K Walk start at 10:00 a.m. at Treaty Rock Park and finish at Narragansett Beach. Shuttle buses from the registration area to the 5K start begin at 9:00 a.m.
