Come check out a fun yet challenging Xterra course in Central Illinois. Part of the Xterra Off-Road Triathlon Series or just come out for a fun competitive time. Come race through the park and see what it has to offer and bring the family for a fun filled day afterward in Wildlife Prairie park, home of local wildlife native to Central Illinois. Come compete with your friends or if you feel you want some help, contact the race director. They know plenty of local people who would love to be part of a relay.
Course Information:
800M open water swim
2 loops of single track mountain biking
4 mile trail run through Wildlife Prairie Park, running next to animal enclosures (bison, elk, wolves, bears, eagle, mountain lion, etc...)
Directions:
Just 10 miles west of downtown Peoria. Wildlife Prairie State Park is conveniently located 2.5 miles south of I-74.
Check-In: 7am-8:30am at the Parkside Pavilion (located just across Taylor Road from the main entrance into Wildlife Prairie State Park.)
