Kick off your FestivALL festivities with this fun race and support a good cause. In conjunction with the Smoke on the Water Chili Cook-off this 5-mile run and 2.5- mile walk begins at Haddad Riverfront Park and takes runners through Charleston, up around the historic Spring Hill cemetery and back to Haddad Riverfront Park. Proceeds from this race benefit the CAMC Foundation to support colorectal cancer awareness and screening.
In 2015, more than 430 participants between the ages of 8 to 78 participated in the run and raised more than $72,000 that was used within our community to provide for education and screening measures for colorectal cancer.
Course Information:
The 5 mile run and 2.5 mile walk both begin at Haddad Riverfront Park at 8:00am. The run goes through downtown Charleston along Court Street and up to the historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Walkers will follow the same flat course along Court Street to a turnaround point at the intersection of Piedmont and Farnsworth Drive

Awards:
Age divisions: Male/ Female 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 and older. Awards will be given to winners of each male/female age division.
