Join Polson Running in a celebration of Spring, Easter, and St. Patrick's Day all roled into one!!!!The March Meltdown takes place on March 19th at the Polson Sports Complex (by the dog park on 7th). Three races:5K, 10K and kids fun run. The first 51 adult racers to register will receive a free T-shirt. Awards galore. We love having walkers and runners for this event. If you plan to exclusively walk, let us know prior to the race.
Wear a costume to the race and get a head start of 30 seconds.
When: 5k and 10K 9:00 AM. Same day registration from 8-8:45 AM. Kids race at approximately 10:20.
Cost: $20 online and prior to race, $25 dollars same day registration.Under 15 years old is $10 online and $15 day of registration. Kids race is $2 and race day only registration.
Distance and Course: 5k is one loop, 10K is two loops. Kids race is about 1/2 mile. Begins and ends at the Polson Sports Complex.The race starts at the baseball fields heading east on 7th ave, taking a right on 2nd street, take a right on 19th ave by the highschool, then a left on 6th st west, then a right on Greiner, then a right onto the bike path down to the finish. 10 K racers will make two consecutive loops.
This years race will benifit Head over Heels LLC, a business providing instruction and encouragement in gymnastics and cheer for the Mission Valley.
