Celebrate the start of summer with a Friday evening run along the trails of Blandford Nature Center! Run or walk around the Blandford Farm, zoom through the meadow, race along the Brandywine Creek and get a running tour of Blandford's 143 acres of natural land. This course is challenging enough for seasoned trail runners, but easy enough for for the casual runner or walker to have a blast too.
NEW this year: Kids can join in too! In addition to the youth division for the 5K, young ones can take part in our 1 Mile Fun Run around the Blandford Farm.
After the race, stick around for the Summer Celebration with beer, music and FREE hotdogs from Rockford's Corner Bar. There'll be activities for kids, and at dusk stick around for an outdoor movie! This event is a community celebration that raises money for Blandford Nature Center's environmental education, farming, land stewardship and wildlife programs.
