The World Open Water Swimming Association named the Cedar Island 5K Swim as One of America's Top Open Water Swims. This is a list of the most unique, most popular, most historic, most beautiful, most interesting, and most challenging open water swims across the 50 states of the United States of America. Following criteria is used to Determine the list of open water swims :

The 5K swim starts and finishes at Avalon Yacht Club. IN water strat at 5:15 SHARP. The course is designed to be going with the tide throughout the event! All proceeds from the race will be going to the Operation Ward 57, Philadelphia Treats For Troops, American Legion Post #331, and Mission K9 Rescue. Racers receive an athlete back pack, Technical shirt, custom Defeet socks, and custom swim cap. SIGN UP NOW! THE SWIM WILL SELL OUT a few weeks before the event date.
