Fully supported rides – police at major intersections on race ( 26 mile ) route, on-route motorcycle support, experienced sag support, great aid stations, medics, post-ride party.
50 & 26 & 11 Mile Tours
The 50 & 26 & 11 mile recreational tours are great family rides set in the San Marcos area. The routes will have several aid stations stocked with food, drinks and a port-o-pottie. The tours are not timed, and the jalapeno’s are not involved. You are more than welcome to stop and enjoy the aid stations, but the jalapeno eating is not part of the tours. Numerous Sag Vehicles will be on route
The 26 mile JALAPENO race will have 2 aid stations stocked with Jalapenos for every Jalapeno you eat (5 minutes ) will be deducted. Cash awards
The Regular 26 mile race is to race flat out and see how fast a time you can turn in. The intersections will be manned by Police however you must obey their instructions.
Both races will have age group awards, 0-19, and then 10 year age group. ( 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards for Male and Female )
Post Party will be under the huge Pecan Shade Trees next to the San Marcos River. Food will include the World Famous Kiolbassa Sausage & Jalapeno Sausage.
Thursday 8-4-2016 – Soler Sports – Stone Oak – 4-7pm
Race Site 8-6-2015 – San Marcos River Ranch 3301 Scull. Martindale, TX 4-8pm
Race Day – Race Site 5:30am – 7am
Enjoy the San Marcos Texas countryside with gently rolling hills.
