XTERRA Lock 4 Blast is the longest running XTERRA on the Mainland.
Course Information:
Swim Course: 880 yards
The swim in Old Hickory Lake will be a mass start, 1 lap counter clockwise around 3 buoys.
Bike Course: 12 miles
The bike course will be 2 laps out and back around the peninsula. Each Lap will be 6miles.
The course is 90 % rolling, fast, singletrack with a total elevation of 450 per lap.
Run Course: 4.2 miles
The run course will be 2 laps out and back around the peninusula. Each lap will be 2.1 miles.
The course is 70% single track and 30% grass and asphalt.
Directions:
From Nashville Go 12 miles North on I-65, exit right on Hwy 386, Go 9miles exit 9 an merge right on 31E, go 6miles, turn right on Lock 4 Road (corner of Wendys) and go 3.2 miles to entrance of the park. From 21 miles east of Nashville on I-40 Take Hwy 109North, Go 11miles, turn Left on Peach Valley Dr. Go 2 Miles, and Turn Left on Lock 4 rd. Go 1 mile and enter into park.
