2016 General Smallwood Triathlon Festival:
Located just on the outskirts of Washington, D.C. this race takes place at a great venue and is so easy to get to. Now moved to May to take advantage of the early season open water swim availability. The park is named after Maryland’s fourth governor and the highest ranking Marylander to serve in the Revolutionary War, General Smallwood State Park is ideally situated for a triathlon.

Course Information:
• 750 meter Bay Swim followed by a 16 mile rolling rual bike course, ending with a 2 loop shaded 5k run entirely within the State Park.
