The Four States Triathlon will be held at Lake Wright Patman, just south of Texarkana. The race course consists of a 650 yard lake swim, a 13 mile bike and a 3 mile run. The duathlon will consist of a 1.5 mile run, 13 mile bike and a 3 mile run.  Both the bike and run courses are flat and closed to traffic. The run course is well shaded. The race will be timed by No Limits Timing using ChampionChip Timing.

Lake Wright-Patman is located just south of Texarkana. The race site is just off highway 2148 which is accessed from highway 67 or highway 59. Directions to the race site may be e-mailed or faxed to you. Just give us a call at 903-614-4441 and we will get them to you.

PACKET PICK UP:
Packet Pick-Up will be from 10 AM to 9 PM on Saturday May 14, 2016 at the race site. Although we encourage participants to pick up their packets on Saturday, packets will be available on race day morning from 6 AM to 7 AM. PLEASE NOTE - All participants are required to be licensed to race. If you have a USAT license, you must present it at packet pick-up along with a photo ID. If you do not have a USAT license, you may purchase a one-day license for $12.00 at packet pick-up. THERE WILL BE NOT RACE DAY REGISTRATION

TRANSITION AREA:
The transition area opens at 6:00AM. Bikes are racked on a first come-first serve basis. Bikes will not be able to be removed until the last cyclist has finished the ride portion of the race.

POST-RACE ACTIVITIES:
SHOWERS: Yes, we have showers. After the race you can clean up and come enjoy the post-race party. POST-RACE PARTY: This is why we race - The Post-Race Party. There will be plenty of food and drinks for triathletes, family and friends. We also will have a few door prizes to throw out to race participants. AWARDS CEREMONY: Awards will be presented soon after the last triathlete is off the course.

Texarkana has something for everyone - friendly hotels and clean camp grounds. If you desire a hotel, call the Holiday Inn Express & Suite at 903.223.0008 the Best Western Plus at 870.774.1534. Both hotels are offering reduced rates and extended check-out. There is also a Budget Inn 10 minutes from the race site on South Lake Drive. Their number is 903.838.0300.
