2016 5K Run for the Wine:

Are you ready to register for the most unique and fun 5K that you've ever run before? Register for The Vineyard at Florence's Run for the Wine 5K; the course will take you through theactual vineyards and, upon completion, you will celebrate your run with a glass of Estate wine (you must be 21 or up to receive the wine). "Wine down" after the race with more drink specials, dinner from a local food truck, and live music by Groove Knight! 

Ticket price includes a commemorative wine glass AND t-shirt (not to mention the tasty wine!). This amazing event also benefits the Parks and Recreation Department of Florence, TX. 

Event details and schedule

When: Saturday, April 9th, 2016 (race starts at 2 PM). Packet pickup is from April 4th-April 8th from 8 AM - 5 PM and on April 9th from 11:30 AM - 2 PM. Please make it a priority to arrive at least 30 minutes before race time. 

Where: The Vineyard at Florence, 8711 W FM 487, Florence, TX 76527. The running course will go through the vineyards. 

Why: This run benefits the Parks and Recreation Department of Florence, TX. 

Parking: Parking lots in front of the main facility (will be clearly marked)

To bring: a valid photo ID. Anyone under 21 will not be able to receive wine, even with a parent or guardian present. No children under 12 can participate, and no strollers or pets, please (we have nothing against your kids/dogs, but the vineyards are not stroller-friendly and the routes get narrow at points). 

To Wear: Running clothes and shoes. 

Please be advised that the running course may be uneven due to the course going "off-road". Please remember to take caution when running this race. Once again, strollers or pets will not be permitted.
