2016 UMC Windermere 5K Run Among the Lakes:
When: Saturday, April 2, 2016 Where: Town Hall on Main Street, Windermere, FL Start: 5K Run/Walk - 8:00am Kids Run - 9:15am Awards Ceremony - 9:30am
Course Information:
Course: The 5K course is on unpaved, hard packed sand/clay roads and is unlike any you will find in Florida as it meanders along the lakefront under a canopy of ancient oak trees.
Directions:
Directions: Take I-4 to Conroy Road (Exit #78) and travel west 6 miles into town. From West Colonial Drive, HWY 50, take Maguire Road South 2 miles into town. Look for Parking attendants when you arrive in town.

Beneficiary: All proceeds from the event benefit the Town of Windermere Parks and Recreation Kids Run: The Kids Run is open to children ages 10 and below. All children will be awarded finisher ribbons. The first 50 children to register will also receive a complimentary t-shirt. Awards: Top three overall finishers, top masters finisher, and the top three finishers in each 10 year age division, male and female will receive awards. All 5K runners will be Chip timed. Amenities: Chip timing, colorful commemorative T-shirt, complimentary breakfast of bagels, chicken biscuits, fresh fruit and bottled water. Gatorade and water will be provided on the course. Registration: 5K Run: $25 by Dec. 31, 2015; $29 by March 20; $35 March 21-April 1; $40 Race Day Kids Run with T-shirt! $10 Virtual 5K Option (Includes shipping) $29 *Correct T-shirt size not guaranteed to late registrants. Register by March 20 to reserve your shirt size!
