Course Information:

Gran Fondo Route - 105 Mile

Our classic 105-mile Gran Fondo Route includes the “Great Western Loop”, a San Diego favorite that cruises through East County’s backcountry and climbs to a maximum elevation of 2,600 ft. The Gran Fondo Route boasts 5,000 cumulative feet of elevation gain, the Honey Springs Climb, and five well-stocked aid stations.

Medio Fondo route - 56 mile

The Medio Fondo Route stretches from the Pacific Ocean to the San Diego backcountry and Otay Lakes in Chula Vista. In terms of both distance and elevation gain (1,500 ft), the Medio Fondo is well-balanced between the longer and shorter route options. It offers three well-stocked aid stations.

PICCOLO FONDO ROUTE - 34 mile

By popular demand, we will continue to offer the 34-mile Piccolo Fondo Route. Designed for riders who want a Gran Fondo experience, yet prefer less riding distance, this route features a flat-to-rolling course with two well-stocked aid stations and just 900 total feet of climbing.

Fun Fondo - 20 mile

New for 2015 is a 20 mile Fun route. This route is perfect for beginner riders

Directions:

The Start: Located at 1747 India St San Diego, CA 92101, riders will be staged according to their route. Note that the staging grids will be clearly marked to match the color of the rider's number. Riders may begin to queue up as early as 6:00am and they must be in their designated grid before 7:00am, wearing a helmet and jersey number.

Parking for the ride is located on residential streets near the start, or any public parking lots in the surrounding area.

EXPO & FINISH LINE

Finish: The Expo and Finish takes place 1 mile south of the start at Ruocco Park located at 585 Harbor Lane, San Diego, CA 92101. The expo and registration will be open Saturday for packet pick-up. Metered parking is available at Seaport Village and the Midway / Tuna Harbor parking lots.

PARKING - These parking lots can be used for parking for Sunday as you can ride your bike to the start ~1 mile from the finish at Seaport Village. For Expo parking Saturday or for your family meeting you at the Finish we recommend the lots closest to Sea Port Village. Many of the metered parking spaces in San Diego are now enforced 7 days a week. Please check signs and meters if you park on the street.
