TMG Little Heroes Triathlon will be held at Veterans Memorial Park with the SWIM taking place in the Cove, the BIKE following the 5k run course and the RUN out and back on the multi-use path. Event is open to kids ages 6-16. This will be a timed event, but the focus is on participation rather than competition. We hope to expose youth to the exciting world of multisport.
6-10 y/o: swim 50 yd, bike 3.1, run .5 mi
11-16 y/o: swim 100 yd, bike 6.2, run 1 mi
Other Info:
The Cove is a 25 yd pool and so 50 yds will be an "out and back." Kids will start the swim in the water and be helped out upon finishing. If your child is not yet able to safely swim the distance, kickboards will be alowed. See your kids complete the distance and take pride in the fact that they accomplished something amazing.
