The Dirt Devils Mountain Bike Festival is brought to you by Velosport Events in partnership with Specialized Bikes and Bike Tech, as the main event sponsors for this race. CALLING ALL MOUNTAIN BIKERS!!! Join in the fun on Saturday (free demo) and Sunday (race), April 16 and 17, 2016! This race is located in the heart of Virginia Key with a 5 mile loop for our Expert and Sport’s categories and a 4 mile loop for all other categories. Both loops are spectator friendly. It is one of the biggest mountain bike festival's taking place in sunny South Florida. It features a demo day from the top brands: Specialized, Scott and Cannondale on Saturday that utilizes some of the finest fast single tracks in Miami. The event starts on Saturday for all (free demo day open to the public). Then continues on into Sunday with a RACE DATE! Saturday, April 16: FREE DEMO DAY! (OPEN TO EVERYONE) Sunday, April 17: RACE DAY! Participants get: Entry to race on Sunday. 1 free meal on race day. 2 FREE beer tickets. (soft drinks for anyone 20 or younger) Event T-Shirt. Festivities throughout the weekend, include a FREE raffle ticket for all registered participants. No Processing fees. Free parking on Sunday for all paid participants. All kids 13 or younger race for free (medals for all kids). Custom medals will be awarded to all kids (13 or younger) and top 3 places on each category. CASH prizes will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in the EXPERT category. The race will feature a Fat tire, Single speed, Novice, Base, Sports and Expert categories. Our start and finish will take place in the trails at the Virginia Key MTB park trailhead.
