Adventure Indigo 4 : Off Road |
Adventure Race : Approximately 3-4 miles miles trail running and 7-8 miles mountain biking |
Trail running and mountain biking through a piney/oak forest . The running portion will have you cross creeks, jump fences and spaced with approximately 15 obstacles and fitness challenges. Obstacles consist of a rope climb, culvert pipe hurdles, a cable creek crossing, sand bag carry etc. The fitness challenges also vary from burpees, weight pull, planks etc. The mountain biking is a single track course moderate in difficulty, with the typical adventure race surprise thrown in.
Be prepared to get muddy!! Its CLEAN MUD!!!!
Things to bring: Helmet and mountain bike, water, parental release for participants under 18 years old.
Come Experience Beautiful Magnolia Country.
Take FM 1774 North to the City of Magnolia, turn left on Nichols Sawmill Rd. and go approximately 4 miles, turn right on Country Lake Drive go 2 miles until it dead ends at Sapphire Circle. The race starts and ends in the park at this intersection.
Divisions :12-14,15-18, adults 19 and up Male and Female each division
Cash prizes to winners
All proceeds go to the local food bank, Society of Samaritans (SOS)
$20 if you sign up before February 15th, after is $30
Free t-shirts, the satisfaction of completing an awesome course, and the opportunity to be in a scenic lake and wooded setting.
