The Tour de Cure was launched by the American Diabetes Association (ADA) over 25 years ago and is the Association’s signature fundraising event. In 2014, more than 60,000 cyclists and walkers in over 100 events raised more than $29 million to support the mission of the American Diabetes Association: to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
This event offers a memorable day of cycling and fun through the beautiful West Michigan region. The routes of the 2016 West Michigan Tour de Cure starts at Ah-Nab-Awen Park in downtown Grand Rapids and offer something for everyone, from the beginning rider exploring downtown, to the experienced cyclist, who may be traveling to Lake Michigan and back!
