• The Niantic Bay Triathlon is a flat, sprint distance race with a 1/2-mile swim, 12-mile bike, and 3.5-mile run.
• Swim is a loop course in Niantic Bay, an ocean bay with no waves or strong currents.
• Bike: 12-mile loop through scenic East Lyme with water views and shaded streets.
• Run: 3.5-mile distance through the beach community of Niantic; with a spectacular a beach finish.
• The entire race is at sea level.
• Aquabike runs simultaneously on swim and bike courses as Tri.
