This 1.2-mile open water swim begins in the clean, clear waters of the outer harbor in New Bedford, MA and ends with a pancake breakfast and awards ceremony on the beach in Fairhaven.
The Buzzards Bay Swim is a fundraiser for clean water. Open to ages 11 and up. Fully supported event with robust safety protocol. Swim solo, with a team, or with a kayak escort - all are eligible for awards and prizes.
