2016 Hellcat 10K & 50K:
• 10K & 50K events at Historic Lee field in Green Cove Springs - Home of the US Navy's F6F Hellcat fighter of WWII fame.
• These races are a fundraiser for the Military Museum of North Florida.
• Entrance to the museum is free to all runners and their families the day of the race!
Course Information:
• The courses will start at the Military Museum of North Florida (off of Hwy 16 coming into Green Cove Springs).
• The 10K will traverse the various paved runways.
• The 50K runners will follow the perimeter of the base for four eight mile loops.
• The loop is part paved and the rest is trail.
• The 10K time limit is 2 hours and the 50K time limit is 10 hours.
• There will be water stations very two miles for the 10K and every four miles for the 50K.
